Position Summary:

As a Chargeback Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and resolving vendor and customer disputes, ensuring accurate processing of chargeback credit card charges, and maintaining meticulous documentation. Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile vendor and customer disputes efficiently and accurately.
  • Post chargeback credit card charges in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all chargeback transactions and related communications.
  • Resolve merchant disputes stemming from prior transactions with professionalism and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Analyze cases of chargeback fraud to identify patterns and mitigate future risks.
  • Update revenue reports regularly to reflect accurate financial data.
  • Communicate directly with merchants to address concerns and provide assistance in resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline chargeback processes and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in chargeback processing or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in financial data.
