We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and cost-effectiveness of our construction projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving project success and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM to 1:30 PM (Manila Time)
- Holidays: Follows official New Zealand public holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity calculations and verifications for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in the quotation process, follow up on submissions, and ensure timely responses.
- Review and draft contracts, ensuring the reasonableness and completeness of terms and conditions.
- Manage the tendering process for suppliers and subcontractors, including bidding, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Prepare project material and labor lists, procure materials according to project progress and requirements, and coordinate with project management systems.
- Conduct weekly/monthly engineering quantity, material, and labor statistics, and prepare comparison tables.
- Compile weekly material and labor lists, control their reasonableness, and provide related reports.
- Issue invoices to clients, track payments, handle settlements with subcontractors, and conduct audits.
- Organize and submit CCC (Code Compliance Certificate) documents.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Supply Chain Manager to assist in quotation coordination, understand technical information, and ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects.
- Prior experience working on New Zealand construction projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and documents.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, patient, and prudent approach to work.
- Proficient in MS Office, estimating software, and measurement tools.
