The ERP Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering high quality service and solutions with great enthusiasm to ensure our clients and channel partners gain maximum benefit from our solutions. The role of the ERP Customer Support Specialist is to provide front line telephone & remote support to our customers and resellers. The ideal candidate will be a recent IT experience working in a software support environment.

Job Details:

ERP Customer Support Specialist

Work from home

Monday to Friday | 4 PM to 1 AM

*Irish holidays are followed (Some local holidays could be considered)

Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Resolve, or assist in the resolution, of customer problems and queries arising from the implementation and subsequent live operations of ERP software at customer sites.
  • Ensure all issues are logged, tracked and resolved on our help desk system.
  • Keep the customer informed at all times of the status of their issue(s) until resolution.
  • Highlight high priority issues where assistance from the other departments is required to get the issues resolved.
  • Keep informed of new changes or defects that have been made to the software.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in the ERP product and utilize that expertise effectively to help customers.
  • Share and deliver knowledge with peers.
  • Enable our clients to streamline workflows and drive process improvement.
  • Provide clients with ERP training and user documentation.
  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and releases for software deployment and change initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in a B2B Technical Support role, in the software industry.
  • A degree in a Business, Finance or IT related discipline.
  • Outgoing and highly personable with superb written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate closely with other teams within the company.
  • An understanding of business and financial processes is a must.
  • An understanding of ERP and Business Management Solutions is a bonus.
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools.
