Job Summary:

The Senior Web Developer (WordPress) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic websites that meet the company's needs. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of web development technologies and have a proven track record of developing high-quality websites using WordPress.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Create and maintain website content using WordPress CMS.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of website design, functionality, and content.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Develop server-side applications using PHP, Python, or Ruby.
  • Manage code changes using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Test and debug code to ensure that it works as intended.
  • Ensure website security and implement web security best practices to protect against attacks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during website development and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in web development.
  • Proven experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio of websites developed using WordPress.
  • Solid understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Django is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Jest.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
